This version of the Snow Queen was adapted into a hybrid play and dance production. Therefore, as the lead costume designer, I had to design dance costumes, theatrical costumes, and some costumes that were both. Much of the inspiration for the designs were from images given to all of the designers by the director. I also looked at period and cultural inspiration when applicable.
